# Books in Cyber

> A free, half-day virtual conference about the books that shape cybersecurity. Year One runs on September 8, 2026, broadcast on LinkedIn Live and YouTube Live, co-hosted by EK Cyber and the Cybersecurity Canon Project.

The event closes each year with the Cybersecurity Canon's annual Hall of Fame inductions - books deemed essential reading for the field. Sessions include author spotlights, leadership panels, publishing insights, and rapid-fire reading-list reviews. Recordings are posted publicly on YouTube after the event.
